Position Summary
Generate new business over the phone by "cold calling". Work closely with Outside Sales Manager to locate and qualify business opportunities. Initiate outbound calls to probe prospects to ascertain lead status. Generate leads to close over the phone or to work on with Outside Sales Manager.

Essential/Key Areas of Responsibility
� Thorough knowledge of nCipher's products and services
� Create two (2) new business opportunities per week through cold calling efforts
� Must generate/answer between 60-80 calls p/day geared towards generating qualified leads.
� Respond to inquiries (phone, email, etc.) and provide support to Outside Sales Managers
� Generate and follow up on leads from trade shows.
� Manage Salesforce.com database
� Create quotes and close business over the phone
� Build positive relationships with existing customers.
� Attend and participate in weekly sales meetings
� Attend and participate in biweekly product training

Education and Experience Required
� Proven Cold Calling experience
� Minimum of two (2) years sales experience
� Previous hands on knowledge of nCipher's products a plus
� Experience with High Tech Inside Sales preferred
� Must be able to successfully work Inside Sales in other territories as needed
� Demonstrated customer liaison, interaction and communication skills.
� Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
� Must be a team leader and player, with strong self-initiative and drive
� Must be able to commit to overnight travel (for example: to attend trade shows)
� Must have drive and desire to excel

Technical Skills and Proficiency
� Demonstrated knowledge of Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel and Salesforce.com

� Manual dexterity to input data into the computer.
� Ability to stoop and bend.
