Product 'End Of Life' Announcement #1 - SCSI products

nCipher is announcing the withdrawal from sale of its current generation of SCSI interface HSMs. A Last Time Buy Date ("LTB Date") has been fixed for the 1st of May 2006.

In parallel nCipher announce that current SCSI products will not be supported with software versions greater than 9.x and that no further feature enhancements are planned for these products.

Support and Maintenance will continued to be offered on current SCSI products for up to 3 years from the date of supply or until 1st May 2009 (the "EOS Date"), whichever is the sooner.

nCipher will continue to offer security-critical ("Security Advisory") bug fixes or patches for SCSI products up to the EOS Date.

Any existing nCipher customer with a query about this policy should contact their Sales representative.

Network-connected ['netHSM'] and PCI interface products are not affected by this announcement.
